Under the Renegade's Hood

The Renegade has two engine options available for 2017 models. The base engine is a turbocharged 1.4-liter four-cylinder that comes in the Sport and Latitude models. It is rated at 184 pound-feet of torque and 160 horsepower. This engine comes with a six-speed manual transmission. The other engine option is the 2.4-liter four-cylinder that is standard on the Limited and Trailhawk, but available for the Sport and Latitude. This engine produced 175 pound-feet of torque and 180 horsepower. It offers a nine-speed automatic transmission. All 2017 Jeep Renegades offer front-wheel drive or four-wheel drive, but the Trailhawk comes exclusively with four-wheel drive. The 2017 Jeep Renegade SUV offers four trim levels: the Sport, the Latitude, the Limited, and the Trailhawk.
