What trim level options are available?

The base trim of the 2018 Challenger is the SXT with keyless ignition and entry, automatic headlights, a six-speaker sound system, two USB ports, dual-zone climate control, Bluetooth, and a 7-inch touchscreen. The next trim, the GT, continues to add more features on top of the SXT. The GT has upgraded brakes, is only available in all-wheel drive, has heated and ventilated front seats, rear parking sensors, foglights, leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, and an 8.4-inch touchscreen. Continuing the trend of adding more features, the R/T includes a sport-tuned suspension, cloth sport seats, Brembo brakes, and a brand new Uconnect. The SRT 392 trim adds navigation, an 18-speaker Harman Kardon system, adaptive suspension dampers, a heated sport steering wheel, power-folding mirrors, and xenon headlights. Variants of the SXT, GT, R/T, and SRT 392 are all available for additional trim options. The SRT Hellcat was the previous top trim with a sportier suspension, automatic high beams, automatic wipers, and quad exhaust tips. The new top of the line is the SRT Demon trim which offers the most on road capability with speed, control, and an amazing new look.

What trim levels have which engines?

The Challenger engines are linked to the various trims. The SXT and GT trims have a 305 horsepower 3.6-liter V6 with the option of rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. This engine is made standard with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The 372 horsepower 5.7-liter Hemi V8 is paired with a six-speed manual transmission and can be found within the R/T and T/A trims. For additional power, you can choose one of the variant trims like the R/T Scat Pack, 392 Hemi Scat Pack Shaker, T/A 392, or the SRT 392 for a 485 horsepower 6.4-liter V8. The top, most powerful engine, is found within the Hellcat and the Demon. The 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi V8 has 707 horsepower in the Hellcat and an outstanding 840 horsepower in the Demon. All V8 engines, except for the Demon's, are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission that can be exchanged for a six-speed manual.

How many safety and security features does the Challenger have?

The Dodge Challenger has up to 80 unique security and safety features available. A few of the features can be found standard at different trim levels. Some of these features would include lane departure warning with lane keep assist, full-speed collision warning with full stop, and adaptive cruise control. Standard on all models would be traction control and an engine immobilizer, as well as a basic warranty for 3 years or 36,000 miles. Additionally, a roadside assistance program is available for the first 5 years or 100,000 miles and a corrosion/rust thru warranty is available for the first 5 years.
