SUVs are extremely popular, so there are a ton of models on the market to choose from. Two of the best around are the 2020 Jeep Cherokee and the 2020 Ford Edge. The Grand Cherokee is one of the best vehicles around thanks to its multiple engine options and technologically advanced features. Meanwhile, the Ford Edge has a nice mix of features and some exciting powertrains in its own right. 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Power & Handling

Power is the name of the game when it comes to the Jeep Grand Cherokee, so it should come as no surprise that it comes with several terrific powertrains. Starting things off is a 3.6-liter V6 that pumps out 295 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque, which comes connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission. On the Limited and above, you have the option of a 5.7-liter V8 that makes 360 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque. Naturally, the top two trims get exceptional engines. The high horsepower SRT uses a 6.4-liter V8 ripping out 475 horsepower, while the Trackhawks turbocharged 6.2-liter V8 comes with a whopping 707 horsepower connected to an upgraded eight-speed automatic transmission. More power comes from the towing capacity as the Grand Cherokee can haul up to 7,200 pounds. Front-wheel drive is standard with all-wheel-drive available on all trims.

Seven trim levels are available for the Grand Cherokee, and each one is as impressive as the last. Starting things out is the Laredo trim, which comes with rear parking sensors, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Limited adds to this with a remote start, remote start, a power liftgate, a heated steering wheel, heated front and rear seats, leather upholstery. You also get a larger 8.4-inch touchscreen and power-adjustable front seats. More off-road features are available for Trailhawk, which comes with a unique exterior styling, off-road tires, and an electronic rear differential. Also included are underbody skid plates and an upgraded instrument cluster display. If you lean more to the luxury side, the Summit is the trim for you as it comes with a self-parking system, active noise-canceling technology, upgraded leather upholstery, and a 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system. The high-performance SRT has a specialized all-wheel-drive system, summer performance tires, an adaptive sport-tuned suspension, sport-tuned steering and brakes, and a sport body kit. Meanwhile, the top-level Trackhawk comes with an upgraded adaptive suspension, Brembo brakes, and lightweight 20-inch wheels with high-performance tires.

2020 Ford Edge Features & Design

There are only four trim levels that are available for the Ford Edge, but there are some features here worth talking about. The base SE comes with 18-inch wheels, reclining rear seatbacks, a rearview camera, a Wi-Fi hotspot, a six-speaker sound system, and a touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Moving up to the SEL brings some more premium features such as simulated leather upholstery, a power-adjustable front passenger seat, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. There are a ton of options available, including heated seats, a hands-free liftgate, navigation, and an upgraded sound system. If you want more luxury features, the Titanium has you covered with noise-reducing front windows, leather upholstery, front sport seats, and ambient cabin lighting. Also, most of the SEL options come standard on the Titanium. The top-level Edge is the ST, which rounds out the features list with a sport-tuned suspension and sharper steering. Inside the cabin are leather and suede-like seating and sport-themed interior trim.
