Trim Levels of the 2019 Dodge Challenger

If you are looking for a muscle car with incredible power than look no further than the 2019 Dodge Challenger. With six different trims and almost as many engine options there are plenty of options to choose from. The six main trims are the: SXT, GT, R/T, R/T Scat Pack, SRT Hellcat, and the SRT Hellcat Redeye.

 

SXT: Under the hood of the base SXT model you will find a 3.6-liter V6 engine making 305 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel-drive, all-wheel-drive is available as an option. The base SXT is packed with standard features including an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a rearview camera, a 7-inch touchscreen, a six-speaker sound system, and 60/40-split folding rear seats.

 

GT: Next we have the GT which receives the same engine as the SXT with either RWD or AWD. The GT then adds to the SXT features with a hood scoop, foglights, upgraded brakes, a sport suspension, remote ignition, a sport steering wheel with shift buttons, a performance steering system, and 20-inch wheels.

 

R/T: The R/T increases the power of the Challenger with a V8 5.7-liter engine making 375 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque. The V8 engine can be paired with either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission. Besides the different engine the R/T also has upgraded brakes, a chrome fuel filler door, an active sort exhaust, and upgraded brakes.

 

R/T Scat Pack: With even more power we have the R/T Scat Pack with a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 engine making almost 100 more horsepower than the R/T. This Hemi V8 engine is rated to make 485 horsepower and 475 lb-ft torque. The R/T Scat Pack also adds line lock, launch control, and four-piston Brembo brakes.

 

SRT Hellcat: Continuing the trend of adding more horsepower is the SRT Hellcat with a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine. This supercharged V8 engine makes an impressive 717 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. The SRT Hellcat also comes with unique exterior styling, six-piston Brembo brakes, a sportier adaptive suspension, quad exhaust tips, a dal-snorkel hood, and interior ambient lighting.

 

SRT Hellcat Redeye: If that wasn’t enough horsepower for you the SRT Hellcat Redeye is here to outrun all others with 797 horsepower and 707 lb-ft of torque. Unlike all of the other V8 engines this one is only paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

 

Dodge also offers several optional features for the 2019 Challenger including exterior stripes and graphics, a sunroof, xenon headlights, automatic high beams, ventilated seats, removal of the rear seat, an 18-speaker Harman Kardon premium surround-sound system, rear cross-traffic alert, and blind-spot monitoring.
