Overhauled for the 2019 model year the Jeep Cherokee is better than ever before! The striking exterior design allows the Cherokee to fall seamlessly into the Jeep lineup while the well laid out and high-quality interior provides the driver and passenger with an escape from the outside world. The Cherokee is offered in a total of five trim levels for the 2019 model year. They include the entry-level yet incredible advanced Latitude, the Latitude Plus, mid-level Limited, off-roading fanatic Trailhawk, and top of the line Overland. Each of these trims offers a lengthy list of incredible features and capabilities and we are going over each one in detail below so keep reading to find which model is perfect for you!
Latitude
The 2019 Jeep Cherokee's lineup starts off with the entry-level Latitude model. This trim comes loaded with tons of modern features like automatic xenon headlights, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration, a rear seatback with 60/40 split folding for additional cargo room, Bluetooth connectivity, and 17-inch wheels. Further standard features include a front passenger seat cushion storage compartment, height-adjustable front seats, a rearview camera, heated side mirrors, a six-speaker audio system, a USB port, and a seven-inch touchscreen interface.
Latitude Plus
Next up is the Latitude Plus model. This trim comes outfitted with all the features from the Latitude model and gains a leather-wrapped steering wheel, upholstery with leather inserts, keyless entry and ignition, two extra USB ports, satellite radio, and a power-adjustable driver's seat. Jeep offers a Comfort and Convenience Package for this model that adds a ton of great features. They include dual-zone climate control, remote start, a power liftgate, an auxiliary household style outlet, universal garage door opener, an automatic dimming rearview mirror, and remote start.
Limited
Up next, is the mid-level Limited model! This trim comes outfitted with every feature from the two previous trims as well as all the contents from the Comfort and Convenience Package. It also gains features like a larger 8.4-inch touchscreen interface, 18-inch wheels, a power front passenger seat, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert, an upgraded driver information display within the gauge cluster, a heated steering wheel, and heated front seats.
All three of these models are powered by the standard 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine that generates 180 hp and 171 lb-ft of torque. The Latitude Plus and Limited models can be outfitted with the available brand new turbo 2.0-liter and V6 engine options.
Trailhawk
The off-roading Trailhawk model comes outfitted with sophisticated trail-ready equipment so you can navigate all your adventures with ease! These features include all-terrain tires wrapped around 17-inch wheels, a locking rear differential, off-roading oriented suspension tuning, unique exterior trim, hill ascent and descent control, increased ground clearance, tow hooks, and skid plates. Inside, the Trailhawk model is similarly equipped to the Limited model. The Trailhawk offers its very own Comfort and Convenience package which adds features like an automatic-dimming rearview mirror, a power liftgate, and remote engine start. The Trailhawk model is powered by the V6 engine while the 2.0-liter engine is available as an option.
Overland
The top-of-the-line Overland model comes loaded with all of the comfort and convenience features you would ever need. They include driver-seat memory functions, unique body-colored exterior trim, 18-inch wheels, upgraded leather upholstery, sound-deadening front windows and windshield, a leather-wrapped instrument panel, cornering lights, ventilated front seats, wood-steering-wheel inserts, a power-adjustable passenger seat, navigation, HD radio, and a nine-speaker sound system. This model is also outfitted with the V6 engine as standard but you can opt for the available 2.0-liter engine.
Available on the Limited, Trailhawk and Overland models is the Technology Group. This package adds features like automatic windshield wipers, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, automatic high-beam headlights, lane departure warning, and an automatic parking system that works with both perpendicular and parallel spots!
